Dr. Tobia finished his high school from St. Joseph Maronite school in Cairo, Egypt.

He graduated from London University in 1985.

He then attended Cairo Medical School in Egypt and graduated with honors in 1992.

Dr. Tobia did his internship and also attended 1 year of psychiatry in Egypt.

He joined internal medicine program at Stroger Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 1996,

And graduated in 1999.

Dr. Tobia started to practice in Oak Lawn and Evergreen Park since 2000, and he specializes in family medicine and primary care, he has office hours every day except Thursday. See office hours here.

Dr. Tobia likes to do procedures, he does incision and drainage of abscesses or cysts, suturing wounds, vaccinations, IV fluids and IV antibiotics, he also is talented in family counseling.

Dr. Tobia has 2 boys, and he enjoys to spend the weekend with his family and friends.

His practice philosophy is simple: “Treat patients the same way that you would want to be treated.” He listens to patients and he thinks that this is a quality that has been lost in this world of speed and technology.
